Nolan Archibald gave up the fewest earned runs he has since back in March on Tuesday. He pitched two innings while giving up no earned runs or hits, good enough for us to rate the performance as the best he's had all season long. He has become a key player for Cordova: the team is 2-1 when he allows at most two hits, but 8-10 otherwise.

Archibald's strong effort led Cordova over Tarrant and he'll get a chance to do so again: the teams have a rematch scheduled at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
