This season hasn't been kind to the Rosa Fort Lions, who are still winless after their 16th match. They lost to Coahoma County on the road by a decisive 38-20 margin on Friday. The loss unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Rosa Fort in their matchups with Coahoma County: they've now lost three in a row.
It was another big night for Caitlin Hall, who dropped a double-double on 19 points and 20 rebounds for Coahoma County. Hall is absolutely dominating the rebound category: she's posted at least eight every time she's taken the court this season.
Rosa Fort dropped their record down to 0-16 with that loss, which was their ninth straight on the road dating back to last season. As for Coahoma County, their win ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 13-11.
Coincidentally, the pair will both be playing North Panola the next time they take the court. Coahoma County will host North Panola at 6:00 p.m. on Saturday, while Rosa Fort will head out to face them at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
