Northwest Rankin put another one in the bag  on Thursday to keep their perfect season alive. Their pitcher stepped up to hand the Petal Panthers  a   6-0 shutout. Northwest Rankin might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team's won 14 matches by six  runs or more this season.

 Northwest Rankin pushed their record up to 19-0 with that  win, which was their 28th straight  at home dating back to last season. As for Petal, their loss dropped their record down to 14-6.
 Both  teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Northwest Rankin will  face off against South Panola at 12:00  p.m.  on Saturday. As for Petal, they will head out on the road to  challenge  Brandon at 6:30  p.m.  on Tuesday.
