Winnebago had to travel to play their first game of the season, and the final result was worth the trip. They steamrollered Pender 50-14. That result is just more of the same for Winnebago, who also won the last time these teams played.
Winnebago's offense came in ready to rumble, picking up 26 points in the first half. Pender came up with 6 to put the score at 26-6. The offense for Winnebago continued to do well in the second half, scoring another 24 points. This was the first game for both teams, giving Winnebago a 1-0 record and starting Pender off at 0-1.
