Red Springs got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Monica Washington out in front who dropped a double-double on 14 points and 13 rebounds. Washington is crushing the rebound category: she's posted at least 11 every time she's taken the court this season. Nakira Hunt was another key contributor, scoring ten points along with seven assists and five steals.
West Bladen's loss was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 4-10. As for Red Springs, the victory makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 4-13.
West Bladen will head out on the road to take on the Dark Horses at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Clinton is coming into the match on a three-game losing streak. As for Red Springs, they will look to defend their home court on Friday against the Bulldogs at 6:00 p.m. St. Pauls will be looking to extend their current three-game winning streak.
