Bunnell strolled into their game on Tuesday with a perfect record and they left with the same. They walked away with an 8-3 victory over the Notre Dame Prep Lancers. The eight-run effort marked the Bulldogs' lowest-scoring game of the season, but in the end it didn't matter.

Bunnell pushed their record up to 5-0 with the win, which was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season. The home victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.2 runs on average this season. As for Notre Dame Prep, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-6 record this season.

Bunnell will head out on the road to challenge Newtown at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Notre Dame Prep, they will welcome O'Brien RVT at 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday.
