Classical Academy is on a nine-game streak of home losses, the Hawks a three-game streak of away losses, but someone's luck is about to change. Having just played yesterday, the Classical Academy Caimans will get right back to it and host the Escondido Adventist Academy Hawks at 6:30 p.m. on February 6th. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around on Tuesday.
On Monday, Classical Academy suffered a rough 69-47 loss at the hands of the Chieftains. The loss unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Classical Academy in their matchups with the Chieftains: they've now lost seven in a row.
The losing side was boosted by Issac Davis, who scored 16 points.
Meanwhile, Escondido Adventist Academy took a serious blow against the Firebirds on Monday, falling 74-30.
Classical Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 2-20. As for Escondido Adventist Academy, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost eight of their last nine contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-16 record this season.
Classical Academy was able to grind out a solid victory over the Hawks when the teams last played back in January, winning 57-45. Does Classical Academy have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Hawks turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
