The Caston Comets will head out on the road to  take on  the Argos Dragons at 10:00  a.m.  on Saturday. Caston is coming into the  game hot, having won their last four games.
 On Friday,  it was close, but  Caston sidestepped Oak Hill for  a  7-6 victory.
  Addison Zimpleman made a splash no matter where she played. On the mound, she  didn't allow a single  earned run over seven innings pitched. Zimpleman has been consistent recently: she hasn't  given up  more than two  walks in three consecutive pitching appearances. Zimpleman was also stellar in the batter's box,  scoring three  runs while going 2-for-3.
 In other batting news, Caston got a big performance out of  Natalie Warner, who  scored a  run while going 3-for-4. Warner has been hot recently, having posted three or more  RBI the last three times she's  played. Another player making a difference was  Kylee Logan, who  scored a  run while going 2-for-4.
 Argos lost  22-4 to West Central on Monday. Argos has now  taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
  Lexi Schenkel made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and  scored a  run while going 3-for-3.
 Caston is  on a roll lately: they've  won six of their last seven matches,  which provided a nice bump to their 14-4 record  this season. As for Argos, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-11.
Argos' pitching crew has a crucial task ahead of them:  Caston hasn't had any issues making contact this season,  having earned a batting average of .357. It's a different story for Argos, though, as  they've  only  averaged .217. Will they be able to contain Caston's hitters?
