Volleyball Recap: Beyer Makes It Three in a Row on the Road

Beyer won the last time they faced Ceres, and Cruz Hibbard did his part to make sure it happened again. The Beyer Patriots were the clear victor by a 3-0 margin over the Ceres Bulldogs on Friday which was due in part to Hibbard, who had three digs and two aces. The dominant performance also gave him a new career-high in assists (29).

Beyer walked away with the victory (and looked especially good in the first set). The final score came out to 25-13, 25-20, 25-21.

Beyer's win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 9-5. As for Ceres, they now have a losing record of 3-4.

Looking ahead, Beyer will look to defend their home court on Monday against Lathrop at 6:30 p.m. As for Ceres, they are taking a road trip to square off against Central Valley at 6:30 p.m. on Monday.
