The Avon Grove Charter Wolves can finally bid farewell to their four-game losing streak thanks to their game on Saturday. They managed a 37-33 win over Freire Charter School Wilmington. The victory was just what Avon Grove Charter needed coming off of a 57-13 loss in their prior contest.
Avon Grove Charter had a senior duo take command as Ayub Massaquoi scored 11 points along with six rebounds and four steals and Xavier London scored ten points along with eight rebounds and five steals.
Avon Grove Charter's victory bumped their record up to 4-6. As for Freire Charter School Wilmington, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-9.
Avon Grove Charter will be playing in front of their home fans against Tome at 8:00 p.m. on Friday. Freire Charter School Wilmington's road trip will continue as they head out to face DuPont at 4:45 p.m. on January 19th.
