The Albuquerque Bulldogs entered their tilt with the Manzano Monarchs with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. In a tight game that could have gone either way, Albuquerque made off with a 14-13 win over Manzano. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Albuquerque also won the last time the pair played back in October of 2022.
Frank Hren looked great while leading his team to the win, rushing for 98 yards and a touchdown on only nine carries.
Despite the loss, Manzano still got an impressive performance from Marvin Watson, who rushed for 85 yards and a touchdown.
Albuquerque's victory bumped their record up to 4-6. As for Manzano, their loss dropped their record down to 2-9.
Albuquerque does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Manzano will head out on the road to face off against Valley at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. Valley will be looking to extend their current four-game winning streak.
