There's no place like home for the Arizona College Prep Knights, who bounced back after a tough loss on the road on Saturday. They breezed by Goldwater at home to the tune of 54-12. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Arizona College Prep also won the last time the pair played back in November of 2022.
Among those leading the charge was Jaylee Aulds, who scored 18 points along with 6 rebounds and 6 steals. Aulds is absolutely dominating the steal category: she's posted at least two every time she's taken the court this season. Another player making a difference was Mariela Navarrete, who scored 8 points along with 4 steals and 4 blocks.
The win got Arizona College Prep back to even at 3-3. As for Goldwater, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 0-2.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Arizona College Prep will challenge Vista Grande at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Goldwater, they will head out on the road to face off against Apache Junction at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.
