Softball Recap: Make It Four in a Row for False River

False River entered their tilt with Family Christian on Thursday with three consecutive wins , and they'll enter their next game with four. Everything went their way against the Family Christian Flames as they made off with an 18-3 win. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 37-16 last Thursday.

False River got a massive performance out of Skylar David, who scored two runs and stole Two bases. while going 1-for-2. David is crushing it when it comes to stolen bases: she's snagged at least two every time she's taken the field this season. Carlee Armond was another key player, scoring three runs and stealing Four bases. while getting on base in three of her four plate appearances.

False River hit smart and finished the game with only one strikeout. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now struck out at most five strikeouts in three consecutive games.

False River pushed their record up to 7-7 with the victory, which was their third straight at home. Those victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.0 runs on average over those games. As for Family Christian, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost four of their last five contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 2-5 record this season.
