While North Duplin put up plenty of points on Friday, the same can't be said for Spring Creek. The Rebels breezed past the Gators to the tune of 49-0. The victory continues a trend for the Rebels in their matchups with the Gators: they've now won five in a row.

Carell Phillips had an outrageously good game as he rushed for 129 yards and three touchdowns on only seven carries. The team also got some help courtesy of Vance Carter, who rushed for 25 yards and a pair of TDs.

North Duplin didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Cole Grady and Garris Warren.

North Duplin's win bumped their record up to 3-0. As for Spring Creek, they are on a nine-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-3.

Looking ahead, North Duplin will head out to challenge Jones at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Spring Creek, they will be playing in front of their home fans against South Lenoir at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
