Middle College won the last time they faced KIPP Collegiate, and things went their way on Thursday, too. Middle College made easy work of KIPP Collegiate and carried off a 24-0 win. The team accrued the bulk of their points in the first half (18) and coasted on those for the win.
Sophomore Joyner Stephens, who rushed for 65 yards and 1 touchdown, was a major factor in Middle College's success. Sophomore Benjamin Calvin was in the mix, too, providing Middle College with 2 touchdowns. The game leaves both teams with the exact same record at 2-2.
Middle College will be staying on the road next week, facing off against South Gibson. As for KIPP Collegiate, they will face off against Briarcrest Christian.
