After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Bella Vista College Preparatory School, Dream City Christian National were happy to have found some success on Saturday. They blew past AZ Compass Prep National, posting a 67-36 victory at home. The win was all the more spectacular given Dream City Christian National's disadvantage in MaxPreps' Arizona basketball rankings (they are ranked 105th, while AZ Compass Prep National is ranked 22nd).
Dream City Christian National got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Zoe Carrillo out in front who dropped a double-double on ten points and 18 rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Ariella Goren, who scored 17 points along with eight rebounds.
Dream City Christian National's win bumped their record up to 4-18. As for AZ Compass Prep National, their defeat dropped their record down to 18-4.
Dream City Christian National does not have any more games scheduled as of now. AZ Compass Prep National also has no future games currently scheduled.
