Meanwhile, it was a hard-fought contest, but Callaway had to settle for a 57-54 loss against Germantown on Friday. The loss unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Callaway in their matchups with Germantown: they've now lost six in a row.
Northwest Rankin has traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost six of their last eight matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-7 record this season. As for Callaway, their loss ended a seven-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 8-3.
Northwest Rankin came out on top in a nail-biter against Callaway in their previous matchup back in December of 2022, sneaking past 62-60. Will Northwest Rankin repeat their success, or does Callaway have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
