The scorekeeper got an easy start on Monday as neither Williamsport nor Holy Redeemer made it on the board until the fifth inning. The Millionaires sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 2-1 win over the Royals. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Millionaires have posted since April 11th.

Williamsport has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-5 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.7 runs on average over those games. As for Holy Redeemer, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 11-6.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Williamsport will face off against Selinsgrove at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Millionaires are facing the Seals at the right time seeing as the Seals are stuck on a ten-game losing streak. As for Holy Redeemer, they will head out on the road to challenge Holy Cross at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Crusaders will roll in looking for their 12th straight victory, something the Royals surely won't give up without a fight.
