Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask University Prep). They put the hurt on the Central Valley Falcons with a sharp 8-1 victory on Tuesday. It was an even better day for Kenna Wood as she scored four goals for her team.

University Prep has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five contests, which provided a nice bump to their 7-4 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 13 goals over those five games. As for Central Valley, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-4.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. University Prep will head out to face off against West Valley at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Central Valley, they will head out on the road to challenge Yreka at 2:30 p.m. on Friday. Central Valley is facing Yreka at the right time seeing as Yreka is stuck on a six-game losing streak.
