Parkdale's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Mark Freeland, who dropped a double-double on 21 points and 11 rebounds. Freeland has been hot recently, having posted ten or more rebounds the last seven times he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of anuel decker, who almost dropped a double-double on 12 points and nine rebounds.
Crossland's win ended a 17-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 1-15. As for Parkdale, their defeat was their third straight at home, which dropped their record down to 5-12.
