The Sullivan West Bulldogs lost to the Monticello Panthers back in January, but the Sullivan West Bulldogs didn't allow the Monticello Panthers the same satisfaction on Thursday. Sullivan West breezed by Monticello on the road to the tune of 61-31.
Several Panthers players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Isabella Velasquez, who scored eight points. The team also got some help courtesy of Amiah Neails, who scored eight points.
The win got Sullivan West back to even at 1-1. As for Monticello, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-1.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Sullivan West will take on Livingston Manor at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Monticello, they will be playing at home against Pine Bush at 6:30 p.m. on Friday.
