The Crane Cranes will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against the Stanton Buffaloes at 6:00 p.m. Crane will stroll in with a 13 game home winning streak (dating back to last season), but they should still watch out: the last time they lost at home was their January 13 matchup with Stanton.
Crane can now show off ten landslide victories after their most recent matchup on Tuesday. They blew past Compass Academy, posting a 68-36 win on the road. Given Crane's advantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 622nd, while the are ranked 1522nd), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Meanwhile, Stanton didn't have too much breathing room in their matchup against the Blue Devils on Tuesday, but they still walked away with a 33-27 win. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Stanton.
Crane is on a roll lately: they've won 11 of their last 12 games, which provided a nice bump to their 24-6 record this season. As for Stanton, their victory bumped their record up to 9-13.
Crane took their win against the Buffaloes when the teams last played back in January by a conclusive 51-27. Will Crane repeat their success, or do the Buffaloes have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
