Van Pelt's evening made it three games in a row in which she has scored at least 17 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Mikah Sickau, who dropped a double-double with 13 points and 17 boards.
Loveland Classical's win bumped their record up to 12-8. As for Twin Peaks Classical Academy, their victory bumped their record up to 11-8.
Rebounding is likely to be a big factor in this contest: Loveland Classical has been smashing the glass this season, having averaged 27.7 rebounds per game. However, it's not like Twin Peaks Classical Academy struggles in that department as they've been averaging 26 boards. With both teams battling to corral missed shots, we'll see if one team can grab an edge.
