Leading Neumann to victory were Sophia McCartney and Mylee Van de wouw. McCartney dropped a double-double on 14 points and 16 rebounds, while Van de wouw scored 15 points along with four steals. Van de wouw has been hot recently, having posted two or more steals the last three times she's played. Another player making a difference was Hailey Scheffler, who scored four points along with five rebounds and three steals.
Barron Collier's loss dropped their record down to 11-6. As for Neumann, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 18-2.
Barron Collier will be playing at home against Key West at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Key West comes in still looking for their first win of the season. As for Neumann, they will head out on the road to challenge Evangelical Christian at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. One thing working in Evangelical Christian's favor is that they have posted big point totals in their last seven matches.
