Section 6 AA recap November 13, 2013
Jamestown's Zacc Kinsey rumbled for the longest rushing play in Section 6 AA this season in his game against Frontier last week. Kinsey's team bested the Falcons as he sprinted for 73 yards on the play and finished with 85 in all.
Jamestown extended the longest winning streak in the league this week by beating Frontier, 42-7. The victory was the 10th in a row for Tom Langworthy's team.
The Red Raiders' offense was unstoppable this week, as it produced the league's top passer, rusher and receiver. Jacob Sisson threw for 406 and 2 touchdowns and Zach Panebianco had 181 yards receiving. On the ground Sisson chipped in 105 yards. Brian Park helped Jamestown's passing attack out by catching 2 balls for 104 yards.
He was 13-29 with 2 interceptions.
Panebianco was the best receiver in the league this week as Jamestown defeated Timothy Myslinski's team. Panebianco racked up 5 receptions for 181 yards. Park helped Jamestown's passing attack out by catching 2 balls for 104 yards.
The Red Raiders' Sisson and Panebianco have formed a dream team this season, leading Section 6 AA in both passing and receiving yards. 6-0 quarterback Sisson has thrown for 2,875 yards this season, while Panebianco has 45 catches for 989 yards. The Falcons' Cameron Coon leads the league in rushing yards with 903.
Coon has rushed for 903 yards on 114 carries so far this year.
Stephen Carlson of the Jamestown's is a few catches away from breaking 1,000 yards for the season. He needs only 66 receiving yards in this week's game against Aquinas Institute to get there. So far this year, he has garnered 49 catches for 934 yards.
The Red Raiders took down Frontier 42-7 last week, the largest margin of any game. Sisson ran for 105 yards during the win.
