The Glendale Vikings lost against the Juniata Valley Hornets back in February, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. Glendale suffered a rough 73-53 loss at the hands of Juniata Valley. Glendale has not had much luck with Juniata Valley recently, as the team's come up short the last three times they've met.
Juniata Valley's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Connor Robinson, who dropped a double-double on 16 points and 12 rebounds. Robinson is absolutely dominating the steal category: he's posted at least two every time he's taken the court this season. Another player making a difference was Charlie Mattas, who scored 18 points along with eight rebounds and four steals.
Glendale's defeat dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Juniata Valley, the victory for they keeps them at an undefeated 4-0.
Glendale won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Moshannon Valley at 7:15 p.m. on December 13th. As for Juniata Valley, they will be playing at home against Curwensville at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Hopefully Curwensville focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 16 on Monday.
