The Ocala Christian Crusaders will head out to face off against the First Academy Eagles at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Ocala Christian knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 31 points or more in their past four contests -- so hopefully First Academy likes a good challenge.
Ocala Christian's offense will try to repeat the strong performance it gave on Friday, when they got past First Coast Christian's usually-dominant defense. The Crusaders strolled past the Knights with points to spare, taking the game 38-22. The win continues a trend for the Crusaders in their matchups with the Knights: they've now won three in a row.

Joshua Davis continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, rushing for 256 yards and three touchdowns while picking up 11.1 yards per carry, and also throwing for 27 yards and one TD. Those 256 rushing yards gave him a new career-high. Troy Wade also helped out as he racked up 100 rushing yards.
Ocala Christian didn't let much get past them through the air: they limited First Coast Christian to a completion percentage of just 41.2%. The team can thank Davis for the heroic effort on defense: he. Ocala Christian wasn't nearly as limited: they posted one of 100%.
Meanwhile, First Academy didn't have too much trouble with Lake Mary Prep two weeks ago as they won 29-10.
Ocala Christian better keep an eye on Henry Purvis. He was instrumental in First Academy's win, throwing for 184 yards and three TDs. Rayce Teate made the highlight reel by snagging an interception and taking it all the way to the house.
First Academy didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Teate and Dylan Bell. Teate got in on the action too, converting a pick into a touchdown.
Ocala Christian's record is now 4-2. As for First Academy, their record now sits at 4-1.
Friday's game might be decided in the trenches. Ocala Christian has been unstoppable on the ground this season, having averaged 350.7 rushing yards per game. It's a different story for First Academy, though, as they've been averaging only 94.4 rushing yards. How will they fare against such a dominant running game?
Everything came up roses for Ocala Christian against First Academy when the teams last played back in October of 2020, as the squad secured a 38-7 victory. Will the Crusaders repeat their success, or do the Eagles have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
