Portland and Heritage squared off in some playoff action on Thursday, but Portland had to settle for second. They came up short against the Heritage Mountaineers, falling 60-36. The Panthers' defeat signaled the end of their seven-game winning streak.

Portland's loss dropped their record down to 25-11. As for Heritage, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 17 of their last 18 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 28-2 record this season.
