The Overland Trailblazers won against the Gateway Olympians last Friday with 66 points and they decided to stick to that point total again on Tuesday. Overland took their game on the road with ease, bagging a 66-5 victory over Gateway. Fans of Overland have seen this all before: every one of the games they've played this season ended as a blowout.
Seilani Relford was the offensive standout of the game as she scored 22 points along with 7 rebounds. Another player making a difference was Michaela Halton, who scored 8 points along with 5 rebounds and 4 steals.
The win (which was Overland's third in a row) raised their record to 3-0. They've been dominating during the matchups in that stretch too, as they've won by an average of 49 points. As for Gateway, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-1.
Overland will be playing in front of their home fans against Golden at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Gateway, they will head out on the road to face off against Kennedy at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
