Overland took their game on the road with ease, bagging a 66-5 victory over Gateway. Fans of Overland have seen this all before: every one of the games they've played this season ended as a blowout.
Seilani Relford was the offensive standout of the game as she scored 22 points along with 7 rebounds. Another player making a difference was Michaela Halton, who scored 8 points along with 5 rebounds and 4 steals.
The win (which was Overland's third in a row) raised their record to 3-0. They've been dominating during the matchups in that stretch too, as they've won by an average of 49 points. As for Gateway, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-1.
Overland will be playing in front of their home fans against Golden at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Gateway, they will head out on the road to face off against Kennedy at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
