In what's become a running theme this season, the Hernando Leopards gave their fans yet another huge win on Friday. They blew past Central 46-8 at home. The squad ran away with 36 points in the first half and mostly just sat on those to pick up the win.
Hernando's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Kayla Holloman, who scored 13 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Aislin Ruppe, who scored 11 points.
Hernando's victory bumped their record up to 12-9. As for Central, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-15.
Coincidentally, both teams will both be playing Weeki Wachee the next time they take the court. Central will head out to face Weeki Wachee at 6:30 p.m. on Saturday, while Hernando will host them at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
