The Patapsco Patriots had to hit the road for their first game and sadly it wasn't the result they were hoping for. They had to suffer through a rough 64-33 loss at the hands of Edgewood. Patapsco has not had much luck with Edgewood recently, as the team's come up short the last three times they've met.
Despite the loss, Patapsco still got an impressive performance from Alivia White, who scored 13 points along with nine rebounds.
Patapsco bumped their record down to 0-1 with that defeat, which was their eighth straight on the road dating back to last season. Those losses could be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they only averaged 21.3 points per game. As for Edgewood, their win ended a eight-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 1-0.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Patapsco will square off against Towson at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Edgewood, they will head out on the road to face off against Kenwood at 5:30 p.m. on December 15th.
