The Blazers' most effective player was Purnell. The senior ran for one touchdown. He has now scored five touchdowns on the season.
Elkhart Central came in allowing an average of 26.3 points per game this season. The defense really stepped up, holding Elkhart Memorial well above its season average of 0.3 points scored per game.
The Blazers got revenge for last year's 26-14 loss to EM with the victory.
