The Cuero Gobblers will be playing in front of their home fans against Young Men's Leadership Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Cuero has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.
Cuero scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Friday. They took their matchup at home with ease, bagging a 92-36 victory over San Antonio Memorial. Perhaps unsurprisinly given the team's high-flying offense, the game also marked the team's biggest win of the season.
Meanwhile, Young Men's Leadership Academy strolled past Gonzales with points to spare on Friday, taking the game 61-46.
It was another big night for Jeremiah Conaway, who dropped a double-double on 17 points and 11 rebounds. He has been hot recently, having posted 11 or more rebounds the last five times he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Tavion Steen, who scored ten points along with two blocks.
Cuero is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five games, which provided a nice bump to their 14-11 record this season. As for Young Men's Leadership Academy, they pushed their record up to 14-14 with that win, which was their fourth straight at home.
