The Chipley Tigers had to start their season on the road on Friday, and it wasn't the start they were hoping for. They fell to IMG Academy White 38-33.
Despite the loss, Chipley still got an impressive performance from Albert McKinnie, who scored 14 points along with 6 rebounds and 4 blocks. The team also got some help courtesy of La'Darius Sirmons, who scored 2 points along with 3 steals.
Chipley's defeat dropped their record down to 0-1. As for IMG Academy White, the win for they keeps them at an undefeated 4-0.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Chipley won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Williston at 6:00 p.m. on December 9th. Williston will be coming into the matchup with an undefeated record on the line. As for IMG Academy White, they will head out on the road to face off against Bell Creek Academy at 7:30 p.m. on Monday.
