The Two Eagle River Eagles will be playing in front of their home fans against the Heart Butte Warriors at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Both teams come into the game bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
Two Eagle River waltzed into their game on Saturday with two straight wins but they left with three. They narrowly escaped with a win as the team sidled past St. Regis 45-43. Despite the win, that was the fewest points Two Eagle River has scored all season.
It was another big night for Jabez Madplume, who dropped a double-double on 13 points and 12 rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Talon Addison, who scored 11 points along with two steals.
Meanwhile, everything came up roses for Heart Butte on the road against North Toole County on Tuesday as the team secured a 71-23 win. The win was just what Heart Butte needed coming off of a 72-45 loss in their prior contest.
Two Eagle River's win bumped their record up to 7-3. As for Heart Butte, they now have a winning record of 2-1.
