Hersey took down Rolling Meadows on Monday, a win that might not have happened without Lincoln Causero's performance. Causero struck out eight batters over 5.1 innings while giving up four earned runs off five hits. The effort marked the most strikeouts he has had since back in March of 2024.

Causero's strong effort led Hersey over Rolling Meadows and he'll get a chance to do so again: the teams have a rematch scheduled at 4:45 p.m. on Wednesday. The Huskies are 9-1 against the Mustangs going back to May of 2021, a lead they'll look to extend.
