Shaffer has been hot recently, having posted eight or more rebounds the last three times he's played. Another player making a difference was Blake Braun, who scored six points along with 12 rebounds.
Falls City's defeat dropped their record down to 7-9. As for Stockdale, their victory bumped their record up to 4-12.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Falls City will take on Charlotte at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Charlotte is hoping to put an end to a seven-game streak of away losses. As for Stockdale, they will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Sabinal at 6:15 p.m.
