This season hasn't been kind to the Webster Warriors, who are still winless after their fourth matchup. They took a serious blow against Catoosa on Tuesday, falling 81-36. Webster was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Catoosa apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in February of 2018.
Despite the defeat, Webster saw an underclassman step up: Terrance Franklin scored 12 points along with 6 rebounds. Another player making a difference was Jakob Davis, who scored 6 points.
Webster bumped their record down to 0-4 with that defeat, which was their third straight on the road. As for Catoosa, their win bumped their record up to 1-0.
Webster will square off against Mingo Valley Christian at 2:30 p.m. on Thursday. Hopefully Mingo Valley Christian focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 19 on Tuesday. As for Catoosa, they will take on Miami at 2:30 p.m. on Thursday.
