AAAA Region 3B recap September 10, 2013
Burke County was the team that made the biggest jump in the rankings, moving from fifth to second in AAAA Region 3B. The Bears defeated Hephzibah 55-0 earlier in the week.
Burke County was able to crack the Top 25 in the state rankings this week after besting the Rebels. Eric Parker's team came in at 25 in the state poll after placing at number 36 last week.
Hephzibah's Chris Hall and Darrell Baker have formed a dream team this season, leading the league in both passing and receiving yards. 5-9 quarterback Hall has thrown for 95 yards this season, while Baker has 3 catches for 95 yards. Academy of Richmond County's Travis Beatty leads the league in rushing yards with 161.
John Bowen's team fell to the Bears 55-0 last week, the largest margin of any game.
