The Towns County Indians are taking a road trip to  challenge the Fannin County Rebels  at 5:00  p.m.  on Thursday. The pair come into the  match bolstered by wins in their previous  matches.
 Towns County is headed out to face Fannin County after opening their season at home and giving their fans just what they we're looking for. Towns County came out on top in a nail-biter against Rabun County  on Monday and snuck past  11-10.
 Meanwhile, Fannin County has not done well against Model recently (they were 0-9 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way  on Tuesday. Everything went Fannin County's way against Model as Fannin County made off with  a  12-3 victory. The  win made it back-to-back  victories for the Rebels.
  Natalie Herendon spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered only one earned  (and two unearned) runs on three hits.
 At the plate, Fannin County got a  massive  performance out of  Myla Rogers, who  scored three  runs and  stole three bases while going 2-for-3. The team also got some help courtesy of  Aaleyah Rogers, who  scored three  runs and  stole two bases while going 3-for-4.
 Perhaps unsurprisingly given the score, Fannin County was getting hits left and right  and  finished the game having  posted a batting average of .407. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Model only posted a  batting average of  .150.
 Towns County came up short against Fannin County when the teams last played  back in August of 2023, falling  10-6. Can Towns County avenge their  defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
