Lansing is 0-3 against West since December of 2022 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Tuesday. The Lansing Lions will head out on the road to face off against the West Chargers at 7:15 p.m. Lansing will be strutting in after a victory while West will be coming in after a loss.
Last Friday, Lansing earned a 60-49 victory over Turner.
Meanwhile, West was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap on Friday as they fell 47-42 to Shawnee Heights.
Even though the team lost, they still had their share of impressive performances. One of the most dominant came from Malakyah Duncan, who scored 8 points. Another player making a difference was Ja'vian Chambers, who scored 10 points along with 5 rebounds.
Seaman's win bumped their season record to 0-0 while Lansing's loss dropped theirs to 0-1.
Lansing was dealt a bruising 73-44 defeat at the hands of West in their previous matchup back in January. Can Lansing avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
