It was a good run, but the Muncy Indians unfortunately witnessed the end of their eight-game winning streak on Friday. They fell 64-53 to Montoursville. Muncy was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Montoursville apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in December of 2022.

Perhaps the best among them was Nathan Rogers, who scored eight points along with eight rebounds and three steals. Rogers hasn't dropped below eight rebounds for three straight games. Another player making a difference was Konnor Shearer, who scored 15 points along with two steals.
Montoursville found their leader in underclassman Shea Ulmer, who scored 19 points along with three steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Ulmer has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Chase Snyder, who scored nine points along with eight rebounds and two blocks.
Muncy's defeat ended a seven-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 17-5. As for Montoursville, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 15-6 record this season.
Muncy does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Montoursville, they will be playing in front of their home fans against South Williamsport at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. Montoursville is coming into the game with five straight victories at home, so South Williamsport is out to stop a team with plenty of momentum.
