Despite the loss, Dougherty still got an impressive performance from Kaleke Singletary-Jinks, who dropped a double-double with 20 points and 11 boards. Singletary-Jinks continues to improve, besting his previous point total in each of the last six games he's played. Jawuan Jinks Jr was another key player, putting up 13 points.
Jalen Holmes had an outrageously good game for Westover as he posted 19 points and four steals. The dominant performance gave Holmes a new career-high in points. Another player making a difference was Keyvon Brady, who had eight points and five rebounds.
Dougherty's loss dropped their record down to 13-9. As for Westover, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 14-5 record this season.
Dougherty didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 66-65 victory against Monroe on the 1st. As for Westover, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 62-39 win against Cairo on the 4th.
