Evansville Reitz put another one in the bag on Saturday to keep their perfect season alive. They breezed by the Madisonville-North Hopkins Maroons to the tune of 87-44. That looming 87-44 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for the Panthers yet this season.

Evansville Reitz was led to victory by Lavell Tinsley and Jaylan Mitchell. Tinsley went 9 for 17 on his way to 21 points and six rebounds, while Mitchell dropped a double-double on 12 points and 11 rebounds. Mitchell is on a roll when it comes to rebounds, as he's now pulled down 11 or more in the last three games he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Jayce Swanson, who posted 11 points.

Evansville Reitz smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 17 offensive rebounds. That's the most offensive boards they've managed all season.

Evansville Reitz's win bumped their record up to 5-0. As for Madisonville-North Hopkins, their loss was their first of the season and makes their record 4-1.

Evansville Reitz and Pike will round out the year against one another at at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. Pike knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past five games -- so hopefully Evansville Reitz likes a good challenge. As for Madisonville-North Hopkins, they will head out on the road to square off against Thomas Nelson at 2:00 p.m. on Friday.
