AAAA Region 3A recap September 24, 2013
Wayne County added to the longest winning streak in AAAA Region 3A this week by beating Butler, 53-0. This was the team's fourth consecutive win.
Wayne County took down the Bulldogs 53-0 last week, the largest margin of any game.
Jordan Waters and Jacquez Williams gave Liberty County a balanced attack in passing and rushing last week. Waters threw for 140 yards and 2 touchdowns, while Williams ran for 85 yards. Teammate Trentice Williams added to the ground attack by rushing for 50 yards.

Tyler Pullum provided a threat through the air and on the ground as South Effingham topped Hephzibah. He completed 15 passes for 161 yards and also ran for 4 yards. Pullum's favorite target this week was Taylor Donavan, who caught 5 passes for 87 yards.
Waters put up the best numbers in passing as Liberty County defeated Cross Creek. Waters' favorite target this week was Williams, who caught 3 passes for 77 yards.
Williams was the best running back in the league this week.
Donavan was the best wideout in the league this week as the Mustangs topped the Rebels. Jake Elliot helped South Effingham's passing attack out by catching 5 balls for 38 yards.
South Effingham's Pullum and Donavan have formed a dream team this season, leading AAAA Region 3A in both passing and receiving yards. Pullum has thrown for 604 yards this season, while Donavan has 13 catches for 239 yards. Williams from Kirk Warner's team leads the league in rushing with 354 yards.
Jody Grooms' team led the league in scoring this week after putting up 53 points on Butler.
