 On Woodhaven's side,  Grace Usher spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered  just two earned runs on six hits and racked up nine Ks.
 On the hitting side, Woodhaven let  Brooke Taylor and  Mia Taylor loose on the outfield. Taylor  scored two  runs and  stole a base while going 1-for-4, while  Taylor  scored a  run while going 3-for-4.
 Trenton's loss  ended  a  three-game streak of wins at home  and  dropped them to 17-8-1. As for Woodhaven, the  win (which was their eighth in a row) raised their record to 22-3.
 Trenton will head out on the road to  square off against  Edsel Ford at 4:30  p.m.  on Monday. As for Woodhaven, they will square off against Walled Lake Northern at 9:45  a.m.  on Saturday.
