The Mount Paran Christian Eagles will be playing at home against the Therrell Panthers at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. The teams are rolling into the game with opposing streaks: Mount Paran Christian has struggled recently with three defeats in a row, while Therrell will arrive with four straight wins.
Last Friday, Mount Paran Christian was the victim of a tough 40-14 loss at the hands of North Cobb Christian.
Although Mount Paran Christian took the loss, they still got scores from Reed Stallings and Carson Harmon.
Meanwhile, Therrell put the finishing touches on their sixth blowout victory of the season on Saturday. They claimed a resounding 56-0 win over Josey at home.
Mount Paran Christian's loss was their third straight at home, which dropped their overall record down to 2-6. As for Therrell, their win bumped their record up to 7-1.
Mount Paran Christian took their win against Therrell in their previous matchup back in October of 2022 by a conclusive 33-13. Will Mount Paran Christian repeat their success, or does Therrell have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
