Linden had to endure an eight-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They walked away with a 13-8 victory over the Hillside Comets on Wednesday. The Tigers' hitters stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most runs they've scored all season.

Eliel Olivo was incredible, going 2-for-4 with three runs, one stolen base, and one RBI. He has been hot recently, having posted at least one stolen base the last four times he's played. Oscar Martinez was another key player, going 1-for-4 with three runs and one stolen base.

Linden's win bumped their record up to 2-11. As for Hillside, their defeat was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 6-4.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Linden will welcome Perth Amboy Vo-Tech at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Patriots have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 14 runs per game on average), something the Tigers will no doubt try to take advantage of.
