On Friday, Reno was out to avenge their 31-16 loss to McQueen from the last time they squared off against one another, but they had no such luck. Reno fell just short of McQueen by a score of 37-34. The lax defense was uncharacteristic for the Huskies, who until this matchup were averaging 16.22 points allowed.
This is the second loss in a row for Reno and nudges their record down to 7-3. The victory makes it two in a row for McQueen and bumps their record up to 4-5.
Reno's road trip will continue as they head to Damonte Ranch's turf next week. Reno will really need to gear up for this challenge, as Damonte Ranch will be their toughest opponent yet. As for the Lancers, they do not have any more games currently scheduled.
