Having just played yesterday, the Mt. Eden Monarchs will head out on the road to face off against the American Eagles at 7:30 p.m. on December 28th. Mt. Eden is hoping to put an end to a six-game streak of away losses dating back to last season.
On Wednesday, Mt. Eden earned a 50-40 win over San Mateo.
Meanwhile, everything went American's way against Orland on Wednesday as American made off with a 68-45 victory. The victory made it back-to-back wins for American.
It was another big night for Kiratraj Sanghera, who scored 18 points. The game was his tenth in a row with at least ten points. Tanvir Chatrath was another key contributor, scoring 13 points.
Mt. Eden has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four games, which provided a nice bump to their 3-9 record this season. As for American, their victory bumped their record up to 8-3.
Mt. Eden won a game that couldn't have been any closer in their previous matchup back in December of 2022, slipping by American 46-45. The rematch might be a little tougher for Mt. Eden since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
